“Night Stalkers Don’t Quit”
A Servant’s Heart
Kevin Ballard is a retired Army aviator with 13 years of US Special Operations experience in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne). He has lived in DuPont, Washington, since 2007. Originally from California, Kevin has always had a passion for serving others. His formative years included volunteering at soup kitchens and downtown homeless missions in San Jose.
A Citizen’s Understanding
Kevin has run his own small business since 2013 and understands the impact of small business on our regional economy. His understanding of the community and his strong desire to serve others helped him earn a seat on the DuPont City Council. He will continue to bring that same understanding and passion to Olympia.
A Veteran’s Determination
Kevin has a daughter and two adult sons. He lives with his sweetheart Amy, dogs Boru and Connor, and cats Abby and Reese. He remains an active volunteer for the Night Stalker Association (West), American Legion Post 53, the Military Officers Association of America, and the Military Order of the World Wars.
What Kevin Wants for Washington
To improve our economy.
As a small business owner, Kevin knows that supporting workers and entrepreneurs is key to a healthy, thriving economy. He will protect citizens’ rights and strive to preserve our American values of liberty, justice, and freedom.
To treat mental health
Mental illness affects our friends, family, and neighbors every day. Kevin believes they deserve humane and compassionate treatment bolstered by conscientious, direct planning, as well as a legislative support.
To support our veterans.
Respecting and honoring veterans for their service is an issue near and dear to Kevin. We must better support veterans’ transition from military service to civilian life in all phases: healthcare, career and job placement, and affordable housing.
